ALEXANDER S. CAMPBELL
Senior Pastor
Alexander S. Campbell is the Senior Pastor of Christ Reformed Church (ARPC) in Anderson, South Carolina. Dr. Campbell received his BS degree from Clemson University in 1985 with a degree in Management. After working as a manager and consultant in manufacturing and service-related organizations for 15 years, he received a Master of Divinity from Columbia International University in 2001. It was at this time that he joined the staff of Christ Church (now Christ Covenant PCA) in Columbia, South Carolina. In 2007, the Campbells moved to Anderson to support the newly formed Christ Reformed Church. Alex received his Doctor of Ministry from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC, in 2015.
His dissertation was entitled Puritan Parenting: Lessons on Family from the Church’s Greatest Generation. Dr. Campbell served as a Chaplain in the South Carolina State Guard, teaches as an Adjunct Professor in the Christian Studies Department at Anderson University, and has also taught at Erskine College.
Alex and Nancy Campbell have been married since 1987. Nancy is an artist, and she teaches history and logic at Highlands Latin Cottage School in Anderson. The Campbells have raised four children, educating them at home.
Associate Pastor / Bookkeeper
Jack Stauffer – Pastoral Intern
Jack Stauffer grew up in Charleston, SC and serves as the Associate Pastor of Christ Reformed Church. Jack is a graduate of Anderson University with a degree in Christian Theology with a concentration in Biblical Studies. Jack serves weekly with the youth of the church, teaches Sunday school, and preaches weekly on Sunday evenings. He is also actively involved with our college student ministry, discipling young men and encouraging their growth in the Lord.
Jack graduated with his Masters in Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC in the winter of 2024.
Sarah Stauffer – Bookkeeper
Sarah Stauffer grew up in Essex Junction, VT and serves as the Bookkeeper of Christ Reformed Church. After graduating from Anderson University, Sarah worked in financial audit for a local firm for a year and a half before joining the staff at Christ Reformed. Sarah has been an active member of Christ Reformed Church since 2015, when she was a freshman at Anderson University.
Jack and Sarah met while attending Christ Reformed Church and RUF as students at Anderson University. Their favorite pastimes are singing together, playing music, reading, and going on walks. They got married in May of 2020 amidst the COVID pandemic and are delighted to serve the Body of Christ together.
Secretary & Ministry Assistant
Madeline Fary grew up all over the place as a military child, but as of September 2021 calls Anderson, SC home. She recently graduated from Anderson University with a degree in English Literature, and now serves as the Secretary and Ministry Assistant at Christ Reformed Church.
She was introduced to the church by her brother, Malcolm, freshman year and has joyfully attended and been involved since! She prays that the Lord will use her to disciple and encourage true worshippers of God through her life and work.
