The Constitution of The Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARPC) and Christ Reformed Church is based upon Holy Scripture and Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. Christ Reformed Church also affirms the ancient summaries of Biblical faith known as creeds. The three great creeds of faith recited at our church are the Apostle’s Creed, the Nicene Creed and the Athanasian Creed.
As a Presbyterian church, we are led by elders (Ex. 18; 1 Tim.3; Titus 1; 1 Pet. 5:1; Js. 5:14; Rev. 4:4) and are accountable to the higher authorities (“courts”) of our local Presbytery and the world-wide Synod of the ARPC (Acts 15).
As a Reformed church, we also affirm the “Five Solas” of the Protestant Reformation. Below is a summary of each of these tried-but-true Protestant “battle cries” – presented in their entirety from The Cambridge Declaration of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals.
